		<description>I've always thought it was obnoxious when someone handed me a thumb drive after my presentation and asked me for a copy of my presentation. I've worked for weeks perfecting my talk and now I should give it away so he can use it as his own? I'm glad to see someone else finds this practice unnerving. I like the PDF approach but would go one step further in preparing a "lite" version of the talk.</description>

		<description>Funny. I carry one of these, too. I was at a major conference recently and the laser pointer they supplied was the size of a brick. Plus the slide advance was built in to the podium with no way to move it. It's not always possible to use it, but I always bring it. Good stuff.</description>
